Report Template Exchange - Instructions for Submitting Files

Please refrain from duplicate submissions by first reviewing the existing template descriptions to assure that a similar template does not already exist on the site.

Laureate Learning Systems reserves the right to review and edit report templates prior to posting them on the Sterling User’s site. Submissions that could prove to be problematic to other users or inappropriate for any other reason will be rejected.

When you have finished creating a useful Report Template that you would like to share with other Sterling Edition users, you will first need to export the file and then send it to us via e-mail. Please include a brief description of the report and which program it is intended for.

Exporting a Report Template File:

  1. Make sure that “View As: Template” is selected in the Report Writer widow.
  2. Prior to exporting the template, we recommend that you save it (internally) if you have not already done so by clicking on the “Save Template” button.
  3. Now click on the “Export” button. You will be prompted to enter a name and location to save the file.
  4. Choose a short name that describes your report and save the file in a location where you will be able to find it easily.
  5. The export will be complete once the file is saved.

Sending a Report Template File to Laureate via E-mail:

  1. Start your e-mail program and create a new message to SEfeedback@LaureateLearning.com.
  2. Type a brief description of your report template and mention which program it is intended for and why you think other Sterling users will find it useful.
  3. Now, attach the template file you created and send it. If you are not sure how to attach files to e-mail messages, please consult the documentation for you e-mail software. We will provide you with a confirmation message once we receive your submission.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to submit them to the same address: SEfeedback@LaureateLearning.com.
