Q: The sound is distorted, skipping, or seems to have a slight echo. What can be done?
A: There may be an audio conflict on some Windows® systems. This is often caused by virus protection applications such as McAffee® that interrupt the flow of data from the CD-ROM drive, causing the sound to be affected. We recommend that you disable virus protection software while running Sterling Edition programs from the CD-ROM drive.
